how can you develop arm strengh in kids ages 10-12? are there
any drills or exercises that would help
Answer
Long tossing would be my answer. Set a specified # of days - 3 or 4 - and play catch, gradually increasing the distance every 3-4 throws. After a max distance is reached, then work back in using the same approach. The closer you get - become very target-specific. Work on accuracy. If he's a pitcher, you can conclude with 1/2 speed work from the windup working on location and maybe a change up.
