Weights after throwing

sir my name is howard i would like to know if you could give me an advice . when i finish throwing long toss or practice can i go to the gym and do weights .

Howard-
Of course you can go lift weights after you have thrown or practiced, but, I do have some suggestions:
1. Keep it light. Be careful not to go overboard with heavy weights.
2. Try and lift lower body on the days when you have thrown a lot. This will allow your arm to rest but still get you a session in the gym.
3. Evaluate your goals prior to making a workout routine. Unfortunately, bench press won't make you throw any harder! (but Squats and Core work will!)
4. Use your Off season to gain strength or mass or whatever you are looking for from Lifting weights. In-season just try and maintain the strength you have.
