wee or t-ball
Question
i am moving to new dorp in staten island and my son is turning four next month--i am trying to find out how to get him into a baseball league that is age appropriate. this is all new to me, so any guidance would be so appreciated. thanks.
Answer
Laura,
Four years old is a little young still. Most leagues do not start until 5 years old. You should contact the local the local chamber of commerce or do an online search for local little leagues. Then you can find out at what age they start.
I think that if he is still 3, he is still too young for a team. I recommend playing in the backyard or at the park. Take him to some games and let him watch. I would say that would be best at this point.
Good luck,
