batting time

Question
My child did not get to bat  once in his last game and only once in his other games. He shows up for every practice and has a great attitude but is not one of the best players. The coach was really wanting to win the last game so he only played is best players. A lot of the players got to bat a least 4 to 5 times and some 2 times during the game. My son got to bat none. He only payed once in the outfit during the whole game. What are the rules for each child allowing to bat?

Answer
That rule varies from league to league.  Most youth leagues have a rule stating that a child must bat 1 time and play at least 1 inning in the field, but I've seen a couple where the coach can play whoever, whenever.  I would ask your league director/president for clarification of you specific case.  Sorry I can't be of more help.
