There are many veteran skydivers who make sure they try a dive in every new location they find themselves, in order to see sights from their unique "perspective", but for both veteran and novice skydivers, New Jersey is a great place for the sport as it offers a great variety of beautiful sights to see from the sky. Sandwiched between the Atlantic Ocean, the state of New York and the state of Pennsylvania, New Jersey has a great position to offer visitors a wide variety of sights and activities. In addition to its proximity to New York City, New Jersey offers first class cities of its own to visit, such as Princeton or Atlantic City.
Combining any of these great places with a skydiving adventure will make for a great vacation getaway.
Skydiving close to the coast will allow the visitor to see a beautiful aerial view of the Great Atlantic Ocean, both as you climb in the plane to your diving height, and all the way down during your dive.
While you are down at the Shore, make sure to take advantage of all of the great activities, such as amusement parks, boardwalk rides, the beaches, great restaurant and the famous Jersey Shore bars and restaurants.
There are a number of superb skydiving centers in New Jersey that make it easy for either an experienced skydiver or a brand new participant really enjoy the sport. The only requirement for full enjoyment of this sport is that you be over 18 years old. Try skydiving in New Jersey and you will want to do it until you are 80 or more!
One of the most important things about your experience with skydiving is that you are content with the skydiving center you choose to work with. Make sure you ask as many questions as you can think of and that you get full, clear answers that make you feel confident in the center. The center should be happy to make you fully informed about all aspects, including what kind of material you should bring, how much time you need to allow for your dive, etc. New york skydiving is something everybody would like to try their hands in.
Don't forget that you will definitely have to allow more time than just the dive. There will be a training period, the length of which will depend upon what kind of diving you will do. You will want a little time afterwards as well, for "debriefing".
