Dive travellers are being invited to join in on the 60th anniversary celebrations at the Divi Flamingo Beach Resort in the Caribbean island of Bonaire.
To celebrate six decades of providing amazing scuba diving holidays and activities for tourists and diving-enthusiasts, the Divi Flamingo Beach Resort has launched a series of promotions and events that will take place every month at the resort.
During January and February, visitors have been able to enjoy special room discounts and Valentine's Day Spa packages but there are plenty more activities planned over the forthcoming months of 2012.
"This is a time of celebration and we're doing several special things to commemorate the last 60 years. There's a special Stephen Frink Underwater Photography programme in July, a SingleDivers.com singles week in March, and something we are all excited about, a ‘Legends of Divi Diving' Reunion in June," explained Bonny Hanley, the Property Sales Manager for Divi Flamingo Beach Resort.
In May this year, travellers who sign up for week-long scuba diving holidays at the resort will receive three free afternoon boat dives and some other months during 2012 will offer seven-night scuba holidays at the resort for the price of six nights.
"Divi Resorts has always thrived because of our return guests," Hanley added. "So to show our appreciation to all of our guests, every guest who stays at Divi Flamingo in 2012 will be eligible to win a free return trip in 2013."
The full schedule of events and promotions is listed on the website diviresorts.com.
