Aggressor Fleet to Offer Scuba Diving Holidays in Thailand with New Thailand Aggressor Live-aboard Yacht

The Aggressor Fleet will be adding a new vessel to it live-aboard fleet next year with the new 16-passenger Thailand Aggressor.

The 115-foot steel yacht will provide live-aboard scuba diving holidays for divers from 3rd March, 2013 and will operate northern and southern routes in the Andaman Sea from Phuket in Thailand.

Aggressor Fleet will transform the Star Dancer from its Dancer Fleet into the Thailand Aggressor after it returns from its operations in Papua New Guinea in November this year. The vessel will undergo extensive refurbishments and will be launched as the new Thailand Aggressor next March.

Diving enthusiasts will have a choice of scuba diving holidays to choose from aboard the new vessel, lasting seven nights or 14 nights.

Between May and October, the Thailand Aggressor will take the southern route in the Andaman Sea visiting popular scuba diving destinations such as Shark Point, Anemone Reef and Phi Phi Islands. From November to April, the yacht will alternate between southern and northern routes every week, giving passengers the opportunity to experience scuba diving adventures in both destinations.

Last month the CEO of Aggressor Fleet, Wayne Brown, signed an agreement with new franchise owner Touchatorn Sutanyavinij (Ong) who operates Elegance Travel, Thailand's largest tour operator.

Mr Brown stated: "We are very excited to have Ong's extensive knowledge of diving in Thailand and adding this exciting destination to Aggressor Fleet. Ong is a perfect fit for our company and we look forward to having him aboard.

"Ong is an avid scuba diver and has led groups and travelled on many Aggressor Fleet yachts and is eager to be a part of the fleet."

Known as the "Pearl of the South", Phuket is one of the most popular spots for scuba diving in Thailand. The island boasts an all-year-round tropical climate and an array of diving sites such as the Similan Islands, Shark Point, Richelieu Rick, Hin Daeng, and the Phi Phi Islands.

During scuba diving trips in the Andaman Sea, divers and underwater photographers can enjoy warm, crystal clear waters and an abundance of beautiful marine species including tropical dish, manta rays, and whale sharks.
