There are definitely places that you cannot miss when scuba diving in Croatia. The famous sunken passenger ship in Istria is a must see. The passenger ferry, the Baron Gautsch, sunk in 1914 and is quite well preserved and fun to explore. You can even enter the ship, but experience is a must and it is not advisable for beginners to visit this site.
If you would like to see diverse and beautiful sea life then you should make a stop at Kornati. This is one of the most beautiful places to scuba dive; there are many types of corals and sponges as well as fishes. The visibility here is amazing, often you can see up to 40 meters ahead as the waters are so crystal clear.
There is also a sea pond in Susac, which is the main attraction at this dive spot. It is a wonderful place to explore and the sea pond can be accessed through an underwater tunnel. There is an underwater wall at this spot as well that is filled with sea organisms. You really can’t go wrong when scuba diving in Croatia.
