ASICS – The king of Japanese running shoe

The forerunner of Asics is the Onitsuka Tiger Company, which was created in 1949 at Kobe by a Japanese veteran, Kihachiro Onitsuka. At the beginning, this company focused on producing volleyball shoes and basketball shoes for internal market - Japan. Suddenly, in 1953, this company introduced the first running shoe with name was Marathon Tabi. Next, in 1966, Onitsuka was made a breakthrough with the running shoe Mexico 66 and at that time, the logo with stripes of Asics was born. Then, in 1977, Onitsuka Tiger merged with GTO and JELENK to become Asics Corporation. In fact, Asics is the short name of a Latin idiom, which is "Anima sana in corpore sano". The meaning of this idiom is "A clear mind within a healthy body". Nowadays, the products of Asics are very various. In reality, they are sport stuffs for many sports, such as:  running, tennis, hockey and so on. It is true that depending on each market, Asics has different strategies. In this article, I will only introduce one of them, which is Asics Fluid Axis. It is matter of the fact that this is an Asics's invention to support pronation moves of feet when you run. So, what is the pronation? The fact that Pronation is the flip inwards (in the cheek) of the foot, the heel and accuracy is part of the foot when running. In addition, this is also a naturally occurring mechanism against the foot is activated while running, consists of two main benefits. Firstly, creating a natural anti-shock system helps limit the force on the body while running. Secondly, helping the body adapt to the different terrain running. With the support from Asics Fluid Axis technology, runners would feel comfortable when they run in any terrain.
