It is important for the campers to understand that even if they workout hard and play b-ball all the time, if they are not re-fueling their body and eating the right balance of complex carbohydrate, lean proteins, and good fat, they will not have the energy necessary to implement their new skills on the court. Eating right is something all people should learn how to do and it is easier if is happens at an early age and good habits can be formed sooner than later. Endurance is another component that many be present. This includes both a physical and mental component. The physical component involves running up and down the court even when tired, playing through pain and exhaustion, and putting in as much effort and energy as possible even when it is not easy to do. The psychological factor involves remaining focused on the game regardless of external factors that may be distracting.
