The Angriest Athletes of All Times

Adrenaline rush and emotions are always at the highest level when it comes to sports. If you throw some testosterones in the field, it will not take long for some rage to trigger. Since anger is considered to be one of strongest human emotions, it's no surprise to so a number of athletes with no control over it.

These sports enthusiasts listed here were picked because of their tendency to flame with little or no reason at all. So here are the angriest players of recent times.

  1. 1.  Rasheed Wallace (NBA)

Wallace has indeed a number of technical fouls. Usually, his reactions can be so quick that he doesn't think before he does something, there are even times when he needs to be restrained. Sometimes, he is even mad at his own teammate. His angriest moment was in 2001 when he charged at referee Gary Benson and threw a towel at referee's face in response to being ejected. Wallace was then fined with $10,000 and was suspended for two consecutive games.

  1. 2.  Bret Saberhagen (MLB)

Saberhagen may be a two-time Cy Young Award winner and a three-time All-Star, but his attitude proved otherwise. He never really did adjust to the spotlight in the Big Apple. His pitching actually worsened and he took out his frustrations out on the media. The worst thing that he did was throwing a firecracker underneath a table near the reporters. Luckily, no one was reported to be injured.

  1. 3.  Milton Bradley (MLB)

Even if Bradley is only in the league for six seasons, he already has a long list of outburst episodes. If you question his attitude or his commitment, you would most likely get an earful of rants. The most highlight of his outrage was when a fan threw a plastic beer bottle at him, making him whipped it back into the stands where the culprit was seated. Medical experts even believe that he needs a Hypnotherapy SA to clear his mind from negative behaviours!

  1. 4.  Jeff Tarango (Tennis)

Tarango was a professional tennis player who garnered 14 doubles titles during his career and has won two top-level professional singles titles. But those are not the only reasons that made a mark in his career. During a default match in Wimbledon, Tarango told his fans to "shut up" as he walked off the court. As a result, his wife made her way up to him and slapped his face twice!

  1. 5.  John McEnroe (Tennis)

McEnroe was noted to be one of the professional faces when it comes to tennis, but he also displayed a face of displeasure. It was during 1980 when he had a fiery exchange of words with the officials during a semi-final Wimbledon match against Jimmy Connors.

  1. 6.  Vernon Maxwell (NBA)

The warm smile Maxwell was showing was so deceiving! His unacceptable behaviour was definitely a danger to the society. His list of outrage includes swinging free weights at teammates and pitching objects at referees. His worst act was in 1995 when he jumped into the stands in Portland to beat a 35-year-old protester. This sports addict indeed has issues; another player who needs a Hypnotherapy Adelaide to ease his temper.
