Golf Lessons - Can You Bend It Like Bubba?
Golf Lessons From Bubba Watson
Following on from the previous post I wanted to show you two ways you can work on your golf game and fitness to be just that little bit more like Bubba and perhaps allow your self to be more adventurous and athletic. This might seem strange getting golf lessons from him, seeing as he has never had an official one or a coach himself. He plays golf his way… The Bubba way.
The golf lessons are;
Can you bend it like Bubba?
Meaning how often do you play with the golf ball either on the practice range or on the golf course? Do you try and manipulate your golf shots?
This can do a few things, one it can make golf more challenging, (not that it is an easy game) but make it different and challenging each shot you play
It allows you to be adventurous and creative.
And it impoves your golf game because you know have the confidence to attack pins, curve around hazards and so on.
The commentators at the U.S. Masters were consistently mentioning and giggling at his skill at shaping his shots and how much he did so.
Even Tiger Woods has had golf lessons from Bubba about how to be more creative by playing more practice rounds with him. It is all about imagination. Now this imagination maybe comes from within a natural god given talent, but it is also something you can work on yourself.
Can You Draw a Wedge 30 Yards?
Practice, practice, practice and more golf practice on the range and also on the golf course. Next time you are on the range, I want you to play… really play with your shots, see just how far you can shape your shots, try this with all clubs throughout the bag.
See just how far you can bend the shots;
Fade, Draw, Hook, Slice, punch, low, High Floater, Running Shot.
Just to name a few and make sure you try this in practice rounds too!
On to the second of the Golf Lessons.Can you put your tee shots further down the holes giving you shorter shots to the green?Exercises for golf will help you do that.
By enhancing your golf swing through golf strength and golf conditioning you allow your game to play at a much higher level not just through enhancing the swing itself but by being in as good a shape as possible so you have endurance and stamina to focus throughout golf tournaments.
That is one reason Bubba Watson can smash it so far because of his strength for golf and mobility.
His swing is a clear display of athleticism and explosiveness despite the fact it's unconventional.
