How To Keep Your Golfing Scores Low The Right Way

2016/7/20 16:11:20

One way to lower your golf score is to keep your swing smooth and follow through like you are swinging baseball bat. You have to find your rhythm and incorporate that into the swing. You may see other players swings and they are choppy and jerky, these swings do not make for good golfers.

You also have to find your swing speed. Hitting the ball isn't enough, if you hit the ball too soft it won't go far enough, if you hit the ball too far it will get away from the hole. You have to find your speed and adjust it your swing. Once you do that, you have that you half the battle won.

To get into tempo with your rhythm is to practice, one good way to practice this would be with a metronome, you place this device on the tee, and this is so you can time your stroke with the clocking sounding metronome.

Here is a tip, on the tick sound of the metronome you should have your putter at the end of the backswing and on the tock it should be at the end of the follow through. The metronome has more than one speed and you can set it to any speed you are trying to emulate. When you are playing a game you can duplicate the tick tock sound in your head to keep your tempo set.

Another great way to lower your score is to one hand the club. It is not what you think. Many players have said that when they put, they feel like one hand is leading the other. Well, when you are ready to put, and then use your dominant hand to control the stroke, relax, focus and most of all control your swing.

When you have the putter in your hand, it may feel a little strange but as you practice, the more natural it will feel. Don't over put; the ball will go right past the hole. It you hit too soft, the ball won't get near the hole. Don't be afraid to put some wrist movement into the put, but be careful not to over do it.

Another good way to practice is to practice on track. This is usually practiced when the ball pulls or tends to push when you out. The ball as they say becomes offline. But there is a way to practice this, it is called on track or line or line putting.

If you are on the course, one way to practice is by taking the flag from the hole and placing your ball on top of it. Practice putting the ball down the line a few times, the main goal is to keep the ball n the flag track. Do this for 30 seconds. Then place the ball on the green and make your shot. By practicing these tips you can greatly improve your game.
