How do I Break down your Winchester ranger model 120?

1. Unload the firearm and make sure it is empty. Double check the chamber and magazine to ensure there are no rounds present.

2. Open the action. Push the large button located at the rear of the receiver downward to open the bolt and expose the chamber.

3. Remove the barrel and forend. Turn the takedown lever located on the left side of the receiver counterclockwise until it stops. Now twist the barrel slightly to remove it from the receiver. The forend will come off with the barrel.

5. Remove the bolt. With the action locked open, pull the cocking handle all the way back and lift it up. The bolt will now come out of the receiver.

6. Remove the firing pin assembly. The firing pin is located at the rear of the bolt. Use the tip of a screwdriver to depress the firing pin retaining pin. The firing pin will now slide forward and out of the bolt.

7. Remove the trigger assembly. The trigger assembly is located in the bottom of the receiver. To remove it, remove the two screws that secure it to the receiver.

8. Reassemble the firearm in reverse order.
