Note: Ensure that the shotgun is unloaded before attempting the disassembly process.
1. Remove the Forearm:
a. Open the action of the shotgun by pulling the bolt handle rearward.
b. Rotate the action bar spring collar counterclockwise to the "OFF" position.
c. Slide the forearm away from the receiver.
2. Remove the Bolt:
a. Ensure that the shotgun is unloaded.
b. Open the action and pull the bolt handle to the rearmost position.
c. Lift the bolt up and out of the receiver.
3. Remove the Trigger Assembly:
a. Remove the two trigger guard screws to detach the trigger guard from the receiver.
b. Gently lift out the trigger assembly.
4. Remove the Stock:
a. Remove the stock bolt at the rear of the receiver and separate the stock from the receiver.
5. Disassemble the Bolt:
a. Using a small punch, drive out the firing pin retaining pin.
b. Remove the firing pin and firing pin spring.
c. Lift out the extractor from the bolt face and remove the extractor spring and plunger.
6. Further Disassembly (Optional):
a. For more thorough cleaning or troubleshooting, you can disassemble the trigger assembly and sear engagement components, but this step is usually not necessary.
To reassemble the shotgun, reverse the steps taken during disassembly. Ensure all components are properly seated and secure before operating the shotgun again.
