How do you get pine pitch out of clothes?

1. Scrape off excess pitch. Use a dull knife or spoon to scrape off as much of the pitch as possible. Be careful not to damage the fabric.

2. Apply a solvent. There are several solvents that can be used to dissolve pine pitch, including rubbing alcohol, turpentine, and mineral spirits. Apply the solvent to a clean cloth and blot it onto the stain. Work from the outside of the stain inwards.

3. Rinse the fabric. Rinse the fabric thoroughly with warm water.

4. Wash the fabric. Wash the fabric in hot water with detergent. If the stain persists, repeat steps 2-4.

5. Dry the fabric. Dry the fabric on high heat.
