Many always compain they are lack of talent in golf and do poor in putting. On the course, they are hailing for a wonderful swing or hit, sending envious stare to the pros.Should say everyone can do the pros do! You can swing like the pro and give pro putt as long as you follow the steps below:
step 1 Read the green. It is important to take a look at the putt from behind the hole. This will give you another perspective and help calculate the speed. While walking from your ball to the hole count the number of steps you make. This will give you a point of reference for future putts of the same length. You can use your  back foot as a reference point when judging how far back to take the golf putter. For example, a put of 10 paces may take the putter back all the way to you back foot. A put of twenty paces may need you to move it past your foot in order to get more momentum and speed.
Step 2 Get a feel for the elevation of the green. If the putt is going uphill, you will have to put more speed on the ball. If the putt is downhill, you will have to take some off. It is always easier to putt uphill, so on your approach shot, try to leave yourself a put uphill by hitting the ball below the hole.
Step 3 Take into account any water on the golf course and especially around the green. This is important because most putts will break towards the water.
Step 4 Practice. The more putts you make, the better feel for the speed you will get. Remember to use the back foot method when starting out. This is a great way to judge speed early on. After a while you won't even have to count your steps anymore. It will become a natural feel for you.
