The Ryder Cup is an 83-year-old tradition that pits 12 of Europe's best golfers against a dozen top-ranked U.S. players.

The three-day competition, which begins Oct. 1, will be played on the Twenty Ten golf course -- a 7,493-yard long monster built specifically for this year's version of the Ryder Cup.
