Modern Traditional Ping G15 Fairway Wood Review

The folks at PING have been quite busy as they celebrate their 50th Anniversary and as a gift to you, they released two new lines of clubs. One of those is the Ping G15 Fairway wood which has the unenviable position of following the wildly successful and much praised G10 model. Lots of people still use a good old traditional fairway wood, and Ping have certainly not forgotten it. For these reasons, these clubs are hot sales in every golf shop.

The latest in Ping's G range of fairway woods the G15 Fairway wood updates the hugely popular G10 model and shares many of the improvements seen in the Ping G15 driver. The G15 has an elongated head design which means the clubhead is longer from back to from to provide stability and forgiveness and increase the moment of inertia, or MOI. The Ping G15 Fairway wood also features an external sole weight pad which redistributes weight at the bottom of the clubhead and helps move the centre of gravity lower and further back in the club to provide both a high launch rate and a very low spin rate. Ping have also introduced a new low profile design with the G15 fairway woods which is not only pleasing on the eye and inspires confidence but also helps to move the centre of gravity much lower in the clubhead. The G15 Fairway wood is available with a TFC 149F or Aldila Serrano 75 Fairway shaft.

With the Ping G15 Fairway wood, Ping has produced another range of clubs that the mid- to high-handicapper will relish. The clubs are simple to use, easy to get airborne and the unfussy designs and classy red and black color scheme remove any unwanted complications from the thought process. You can find them in any golf shop. All you have to do is to hit the ball, and with Ping's recommended custom-fitting options there can be no excuses not to improve your game.
