Mizuno have also changed the Mizuno MP-53 irons because they found that the sounds people hear when they hit the ball is a large part of feel so they even tuned the sounds of the iron on contact with the golf ball to try and make these irons even better than the previous MP series which were a great set of irons and where very hard to improve on.

The MP-53 also features a 360 degree grind that lessens the width of the sole and top edge while the shorter irons feature a design similar to the MP-63 irons to ensure that they offer complete precision and control.
