Golfing On Jeju Island, South Korea

Jeju Island is a beautiful Island in South Korea. Is is a volcanic island and the biggest in South Korea, but the smallest province.

Jeju Island now becoming one of the best destination for golf vacation for its beautiful golf courses on the island.

The Cheju Country Club Golf Course is one of them. It has a wide and lenient course, perfect for a novice golf player. You can enjoy playing golf while watching the beautiful scenery on Mount Halla.

Another place, Eco-land Golf Course has land surrounded by woodland.

Another interesting golf course is Jeju Jung mun Golf Club located nearby seashore. Players can see the whale while walking around golfing.

This is the most attractive event every year. They theme every year is Golf & Whale Watching. Looking over to the Pacific Ocean player can see whales and take picture of it. There is even a contest for the best picture .

Other than golfing, Jeju also is a very interesting island. It has its own characteristic which is different with the mainland.

Jeju was a fishing village, and the women are the main role on the household income. The woman is the one that went diving to collect shellfish and seaweed. If we visit Jeju now, there is a place where we can see these old women doing diving as performance. They aged around 70 – 80 years old, but still capable swimming and diving. Incredible!

Jeju has a phenomenal natural beauty, the people look healthy and peaceful. They grew cactus to make many kind of food. Cactus cracker is one of the unique production from the cactus there.

Jeju is known for its 3 main things, which are rocks, wind and women. Other thing about Jeju is Jeju horse. The horse has a very strong bone, and they extract the bone to best quality calcium pills.
