How To Make Money By Selling Golf Balls

Used golf balls are useful when you are trying to improve on your overall golf game. When using them you will not have to worry about them getting lost because you can simply replace them with others that you have. Over time it might well be possible that you have built up a fairly large stock of these used balls. If you have several hundred of them then you might consider the idea of selling them on. As such, here are some tips on how to make money selling used golf balls.

You should first start off by getting yourself a golf ball retriever. These devices will enable you to fish out golf balls from ponds that are on golf courses. There are loads of different types of retriever is that you can get, and so you should look through your different options on the Internet and at your local golf shop.

When you have this retriever you should then get in touch with some local golf courses and find out whether they would allow you to use it on the course. Surprisingly, you will find that most courses will allow this to happen simply because they do not want to do the job themselves.

When you have got all of the balls together you need to check them all out. Not all of them will be able to be sold and many will be damaged and should thus be discarded immediately. Those that are fairly fresh and just dirty can simply be cleaned and then will be ready to be sold on.

You can then start to decide how you are going to separate the balls. You might want to separate them by their different brands or you might consider the idea of making some mixed sets. You need to decide how you are going to do this before you start to sell them.

When you have done this then you can then call up some local golf courses and driving ranges. These places will always require plenty of used balls for their different customers to use. As such, you can sell them to them throughout the year and demand is always likely to be fairly high. In fact, you may even sell back some balls that you have retrieved from the golf course to the same course.

There will be other places where you can sell the balls as well. For example, mini golf courses will also be in need of these balls, or you might even consider the idea of setting up an online shop.
