Why I Love This Taylormade Fairway Wood?
Martin Kaymer, the world's top-ranked golfer, was walking through shrubs more than 50 yards to the left of the 10th fairway. He stepped into a clearing as if he was headed for the porch of one of the adjacent cabins at Augusta National Golf Club, as if he might snatch a burger off someone's barbecue.
And then Kaymer, a 26-year-old soft-spoken German, stopped. He had found his golf ball in a bigger, thicker and farther away cluster of bushes.
If you are a golf plaer, it is necessary to buy golf sets. Here, I want to recommend you a golf clubs. Each golfer warmed up with their own equipment for 15 minutes or so and one by one we hit the R9 3 wood. We all started with the head in the neutral position, and each one of us tinkered with it until we felt as though it was in the proper position for our swing. A couple of things to note here. First, with 8 positions all of us were able to find the spot we thought was perfect for us. Second, it still amazes me each time, that when you tinker just a little bit with the setup of the club, how much that dictates the ball flight and performance.
"That hole does not like me," Kaymer said about two hours after a double bogey on the 10th led to a six-over-par score of 78. "Nothing good ever happens there."
It is customary to say that the epic roars of golf fans echo through the stately pines. Near the quieter 10th hole, you would be more likely to hear a low whimper or wail. The next three holes are called Amen Corner. At the 10th hole - historically and statistically the hardest on the course - the players are not praying.
I have to say, if you need a fairway wood, you can buy taylormade r9. The R9 fairway has the same technology that THP fell in love with in the driver. This year Taylormade has added "Flight Control Technology" (FCT) to many of it's clubs. FCT gives you the power to adjust the face angle, loft, and lie angle of the R9. FCT will allow you to change the characteristics to make the club look better to your eye and perform better with your swing. You can choose from eight different positions to promote eight different trajectories.
Not just splendid play but wholesome, inconspicuous sportsmanship. There was even humor, if you found a fan's beer-carrying pratfall as a 53-year-old former Masters champion was ready to putt funny.
Originally the first hole when the club opened, the 10th now is a 495-yard par-4 severe dogleg left that drops in elevation nearly 80 feet from tee to green. It requires a long, right-to-left tee shot. A long row of trees, with limbs overhanging the fairway, protect the left corner around which drives must bend.
Personally I loved the club and will keep it at or near the top of my list when shopping for 3 woods.
