Ping G15 Series Is Your Best Choice
The sun is finally out - and it's reflected in the spring/summer 2011 range from Ping Collection, which focuses on fresh new designs in contemporary and classic patterns.
Here, Ping G15 Series refer to driver, fairway wood and irons.
The G15 driver is engineered for golfers seeking a maximum forgiveness driver that delivers distance and accuracy. Its 460cc titanium head is longer front to back and features PING's patented ultra thin crown technology. Weight savings from the thin crown are positioned as an external sole weight to optimize the center of gravity for higher trajectories and reduced spin.
A larger face is designed to increase ball speed and provide consistency across the entire hitting surface. The new PING-designed TFC 149D high balance point shaft allows for a five gram increase in head mass (without increasing swingweight or overall weight) which results in higher ball speeds and an increased moment of inertia.
It has been designed to co-ordinate with garments from Ping Collection's P59 range of rainbow-coloured clothing. For women, there's an elegant and sporty range of poloshirts, lightweight knitwear, trousers, outerwear and accessories.
The elongated, low profile design of the G15 Fairway Wood offers a long, forgiving option for golfers who rely on the confidence of a larger head. An external weight pad on the sole of the stainless steel head positions the center-of-gravity low and farther back to provide higher trajectories and increased distance.
"Golf is meant to be a game of leisure and our spring/summer 2011 collection reflects this with a refreshing and streamlined range of golf clothing," says product manager Rebecca McElligott.
For men, 2011 focuses on outfit co-ordination including: Purple Haze (white/amethyst/black), No Limits (white/blaze/black), Oceanic (white/Atlantis green/black) and On the Horizon (electric blue/white/lime/navy).
The Ping g15 irons face is thinner than previous iron models allowing for substantial weight to be added to the toe of the club - this weight redistribution produces a higher MOI which is obviously the name of the game when it comes to forgiveness on off-centre hits.
Focusing on two seasonal colour palettes - raspberry/pink sorbet/white and Atlantis green/navy/white - the women's collection will appeal to women to wear both on and off the course - especially the Lana skort (pictured) with its two striking retro print designs.
A fresh and sporty lime green, white and black feature in the Junior collection with bold Ping logos ensuring that seven to13 year olds play with brand awareness and extra confidence.
