This Experience Will Help You To Get Well In Golf
My older brother has much experience in golf as he is playingsince his childhood. He is eight years older than me. In school I was a good athlete and even had some college and event had some college offerings. I was so much fond of basketball , football and I never proceeded myself into golf. Later I started golf game it at the age of 20. I used to play golf with my brother when I would go home on leave. He was a very good golfer. In the originally, I fought very much and even got frustrated. A week has gone, when I made good contact with the ball.
Anyway, that was past. Every day, I got a bit better by playing with my friends and brother who were better than me and reading golf magazines. I was so much in golf and become very fond of custom golf hats. I worked out on how to correct my weak slice and eventually discovered how to hit a draw. Day by day I was seeing big progresses in contact and distance when I started swinging from the inside out. Then I started hitting a draw. I improved myself so much and after next few years, I beat my brother smashing 75-70. That was the most gratifying instance for me in the journey of golf.
I consistently played golf. I was blasting 73-74 on good days and 83-84 on other days. Good days for me were mostly when game was short. Then I started to learn more techniques but now the big problem with me was a backswing, not staying linked. I continued to tape my swing and have my brother watch my backswing when I practice. It sucks, when I do good and its sweet when I do it right. I ordered golf visor for summer season. It was very tough for me to be perfect in that but still trying for better and better. I was doing this without teacher. I was searching for videos on Myspace and after practicing a lot, I was bettering myself in it.
I play for the enjoyment, competition and the challenge but I'm not sure what more I want out of the game. I'd like more consistency and I guess I'd like my handicap to come down a couple of shots but not sure I really want to spend ages practicing. I guess what I'd like and what I want are two different things. I'll settle for eliminating the bad rounds/stupid mistakes, and if I drop 2 shots that would be a bonus.
Some interesting for golf players things to think about
step one- I just want to play for fun and enjoy the weekends. for exercise too.
step two- I want to improve just because it feels good when i get the ball where i imagined it would go
step three- sometimes i get confused which club to use or i just dont know how to hit.
step four- I haven't had any lessons with a pro, but now that you mentioned it, i think i will try,
step five- I've been playing one day a week. Hoping to play more and really get serious about it. so far enjoying this great sport.
Now I love golf and still playing golf. Finally, I started my job in the same field.
