I just purchased a TaylorMade SLDR Driver for the a couple of days ago. Now I see JetSpeed Driver.It is a hot driver, the ball came off with a knuckle ball effect. Just wanted to give them one more try. I feel this driver is the ultimate way to go for me.
This driver features the first Speed Pocket engineered for a driver in order to promote more distance on hits low on the face. Its ultra-low-and-forward center of gravity (CG) and shallow profile promote a faster ball speed and a lower spin-rate for more distance, while the streamlined head shape delivers optimal aerodynamics.
When you change the loft you will change the lie of the club and whilst there is also an upright lie option on the hosel, it is still fixed with the loft so it you need a neutral lie, then try and get the head loft nearest to your required actual loft.The other big change is the black head and silver face, which first re-appeared on the SLDR range. It still has the visual contrast that helps alignment, but is more mainstream than the previous white headed models. Also familiar is the head graphics on the crown which are remarkably similar to the 2007 TaylorMade Burner 460 driver with a few dashes of the current corporate colour of blue.
A matte black crown reduces glare, and the contrasting silver face makes alignment easy. More distance and confidence is obtained thanks to the JetSpeed's long and light design (46" and just 299-grams) that promotes a faster swing speed, while the Matrix Velox T 49 shaft maintains optimal head control.TaylorMade gave the TaylorMade JetSpeed Driver a 12-position adjustable sleeve that allows golfers to increase or decrease loft by up to 1.5 degrees. The weight on the sole of the club is not adjustable; it's factory-installed to improve swing weight.
