The Mizuno MP-60 iron set is the next generation of game-changing cut muscle design technology; award-winning performance with added forgiveness.
Building upon the award-winning success of cut muscle design, the Mizuno product development team evolved this game changing technology to now include forgiveness. The new MP-60 cut muscle cavity continues to maximize performance for today's more aggressive game.
The grain flow forged MP-60 is 4% larger and has a 10% larger sweet spot when compared to its cut muscle counterpart, the MP-32. The cut muscle design in the MP-60 delivers a slightly higher ball flight in the long irons and a mid-trajectory in the scoring irons, while the cut muscle design precisely positions the CG in each club for consistent and predictable ball flight.
I've hit tons of irons over the years - I'm a club junkie, and these golf clubs are great if you want forgiveness, and feedback, and that forged feel. These are more forgiving than you might think. A shot not hit in the center will still go - a bad shot will still be a bad shot. They are beautiful clubs. I've used these for a year and when I try to go to a more forgiving club - it's not worth the trade off. These are so accurate. The ball will go where you hit it - no surprises. Be sure the shaft and lie angle fit you.
Just purchased these and they're easily the best feeling irons that I've ever owned. I gave up a set of the MacGregor 1025cm blade/cavity irons and I'll only play Mizuno from this point forward. The MP 60s have a much softer feel off the face and they're a lot easier to work right and left. Also, got the "upgraded" project X 6.0 shafts, which have made a ton of difference. The ball flight is much more penetrating compared to the DG s400's in my MacGregor set. In the end, I'd recommend this set to anyone that's shooting around par to the low 80s and doesn't want to fool around with a set of blades.
I recently bought a set of the Mizuno MP 60's and took them out to the range. Great feeling clubs! Definately the right investment for me. I researched and demoed clubs for a good month before I finally settled on these. I made the right choice for sure. I noticed my ball flying straighter and farther than with my previous irons. They aren't for beginners and its a good idea to have your swing down before using forged irons. I would recommend these clubs for mid to low handicappers. Ebay is a great source for sweet clubs in the right price range. Thanks.
