What do all golfers need -- even Tiger Woods golf swing needs help
A good golf swing is not natural. Think about it for a moment. You're trying to hit a small ball with a crook-shaped piece of metal at the end of a shaft. A good golf swing calls for an unnatural rotation of your shoulders hips and core muscles -- all in a coordinated movement to strike the ball exactly at the moment of maximum club-head speed, with the club-head face exactly on line with the target, and with the club-head face striking the ball at the best angle to reduce spin to the right or left causing slices or hooks.
A good golf swing requires proper footwork and knee action, a straight left arm and wrists that hinge back at the proper moment in the swing. Think of the movement of the golf club throughout the swing as on an imaginary plane that should slope downward at the proper angle so that you will not be cutting across the ball from the outside to the inside -- a common flaw in the swing many weekend golfers.
All this has to be done within the limitations of your own body -- whether you are extremely flexible, short and stocky, or to compensate for an injury like Tiger's injured knee.
That is a tall order. Pros like Tiger hire top personal golf coaches to work with them one-on-one to fix their golf swing. Tiger Woods' current golf coach is Sean Foley. Tiger Woods golf swing had gone downhill for a number of reasons. I think his personal troubles caused a lack of concentration and that this old golf swing caused pain in knee as a result on Tiger's knee problems. He is working with Foley to "fix my golf swing."
Excellent golf coaching for non-professional golfers
No matter whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced player -- you can have access to excellent golfing instruction on how to fix your golf swing.
If you're like me, you can't afford a personal golf coach to stand with us at all times. So what do we do? Here are my suggestions:
Take lessons at your favorite golf club. A golf pro can look at your swing and give your tips and practice drills to work on. Then practice, practice, practice!
Read books and golf magazines. There are many good books and articles by professional golfers and instructors.
Try an excellent online golf instructional program. There's one program that offers you the best advice coming from a team of expert instructors. It's the number one online golf instructional resource that will help you "fix my golf swing."
Even if you do not have a Tiger Woods golf swing and personal coach, you can improve your golf swing, score better and have more fun on the golf course with advice from excellent golf coaches.
