Golf Cart Batteries For Golf Carts

2016/7/19 16:28:26

Golf car batteries are easy to find online or at a physical store. The make and model of the cart will dictate which battery will be needed. There are many places that can a person can get a battery from.

The easiest place to purchase a battery from is at the place where you bought the car. Many locations are available to buy one from so you won't have trouble finding one. Some places sell the cart but not batteries. Many places offer them at a discount amount that will save people money. They have the same warranty on them.

Batteries can be bought online and shipped to where you live. Be careful because with online purchases a shipping fee is required. This might make them expensive. To avoid the shipping fee some web sites will waive the fee if you spend a lot on their web site.

Buying the right one is important so that it will work with the cart. The right battery can be found by looking at the owner's manual that came with the cart. If there is not a manual one can call a service person and ask them. To ensure you pay a fair price you should look around or research what you are looking for.

Most the batteries come with a guarantee, maintenance on it if something goes wrong, or a replacement. Since there are so many golf carts on the market some of them require a specific battery. This means you will only be able to purchase a battery from the maker of the cart.

There are magazines that are just for golf carts and their accessories. They also sell batteries in the magazine. By looking online there will be a list of dealers that have them. If you intend to take the cart to the water you will need to get a wet battery, instead of a dry one.

This will allow the cart to get in the water without ruining the battery. A charger is what will be needed next. The charger can be found at the same location as the battery, so no additional looking will be necessary.

Chargers plug either into the cart or into the battery. You can select the one that is convenient for you. If money is an issue a used battery can be purchased but try and get a warranty. Otherwise if it doesn't work you won't be able to get your money back or a replacement.
