Golf can be a nice game that's rewarding and highly addicting but can be frustrating. The first step is normally the first mistake and that is getting into a panic buying a new set of golf clubs without knowing what the best kind is and its abilities. Clubs do have different varieties and variations that depend on the ability you have.
It's not hard to play golf because you just swing and hit the ball. If you have the natural skill for golf then there's little bit to improve on such as foot, leg, knee, hip, shoulder, hand, and wrist action. If you do these actions properly then you can perform a very strong, effortless swing.
Foot Action is very important. It's your only contact to the ground and you need a good foundation before performing a swing. Distributing all your weight equally onto your foot is advisable. There are three types of stance in golf; the square stance, closed stance and open stance.
Square stance is where both feet are equally distanced from the line of flight. This is imaginary between the ball and the target. This is the recommended stance for overall compact and control. If you're in closed stance then your left foot is closer to the right one and this is when you are to draw or hook the ball. In open stance your left foot is back farther from the line of flight than the right. This is best when you fade or slice the ball to the right of your target.
Your legs need to be firmly planted and your knees slightly flexed with leg and knee action. Your left leg will go through the foot action you've already done. This is a synchronized movement. You probably look as if you're dancing. Remember that your knees need to be flexed throughout the swing. It's important that you understand the important part of maintaining a good sequence and foundation. This needs to be synchronized in order to be a good and accurate swing.
With hip and shoulder action you turn your shoulder in the back swing and set the plane of your swing with the hips restricting slightly as it prepares for your downswing. This action is crucial. The right hip or leg needs to turn a little so that you're assured that its building a rubber band effect on your swing. You can turn your shoulders comfortably against your right hip.
