The American superstar golfer Michelle Wie is unhappy about her performance in the ongoing US Women's Open 2012. She has finished tied at 35th position, with an unimpressive run of just 80 in the fourth round of the championship. This year the US Open has been at its best with famous golfers, including the top ranking ones like Yani Tseng, Stacy Lewis, Paula Creamer and others clash against each other. Michelle Wie said after the tournament that she never has thought to make such a mess of her score in the last round of the match. One of the sizzling stars of the tournament, who attracted much attention, not always for her play, Michelle Wie has won the hearts of the fans at least. She said in the interview that she was playing some amazing shots, but a few of those mistakes turned fatal for her. A few mistakes in her swing has put her to the bottom half of the leaderboard.
The American star fell from the heights of being one of the top flight contenders from the championship in the last round. She faltered in her strokes almost in every hole. She made a disappointing bogey in her very first hole, whereas parred in the second and again made a bogey on the third. She started off well, gaining a constant momentum throughout. In the last round, though, she completely lost all her momentum. With more disappointments for her and to her fans, she recorded there straight bogeys in the fifth, sixth and seventh hole. This was utter shock to even her worst critics as well.
According to the analyst, Wie, who was searching for her form for last few months, started of brilliantly and was satisfied with her play. Though this satisfaction didn't last long and turned into disappointment at the end of the tournament. It was her third major this year, and after a frustrating last round, she is again leaving the field without anything.
