Why does a silk knot slip easily but not juke knot?

A silk know slips easily because the fibres in the silk are smooth and strong, allowing them to slide past each other easily. This makes it easy to tie and untie a know in the silk, but also means that it can slip easily if not properly secured.

On the other hand, a jute knot does not slip easily because the fibres in the jute are rough and jagged. This causes the fibres to catch on each other, making it difficult for them to slide past each other. This means that a knot in jute is more secure and less likely to slip, but it also makes it more difficult to tie and untie.
