Winchester model 121-- Could someone tell me how to remove the bolt?

Winchester Model 121 Bolt Removal Instructions:

WARNING: Ensure that the firearm is un-cocked and unloaded.

Step 1: Open the action fully by pulling the bolt handle rearward.

Step 2: Press the spring-loaded bolt-stop pin at the rear of the receiver on the right side. Slide it forward to disengage the bolt from the receiver.

Step 3: While continuing to hold the bolt stop pin forward, pull the bolt handle back towards you and lift the bolt to remove it from the receiver.

NOTE: Be cautious not to lose the small ball-shaped detent that resides in the bolt stop pin during re-assembly.

To Replace the Bolt:

Step 1: With the action still open, insert the bolt into the receiver by guiding the bolt stop pin into the rear lug.

Step 2: Swing the locking lug up while pressing down on the bolt handle. This will allow it to re-engage with the action.

Step 3: Verify the bolt can move freely by cycling it manually without binding. Ensure that the bolt properly locks in place by closing and opening the action.

It's recommended that you refer to the Winchester Model 121 firearm's user manual or consult a gunsmith for further assistance to avoid any mistakes that could compromise the safety or proper function of the firearm.
