How to remove bolt from a marlin 783?

To remove the bolt from your Marlin 783, follow these steps:

1. Uncock the Rifle Lever. Lift up the lever at the rear of the bolt assembly to uncock it.

2. Open the Bolt. Grasp the bolt's handle and pull it rearward all the way back until it locks in the "open" position.

3. Remove the Magazine Housing and Ejector.

- There are two screws that secure the magazine housing assembly. Remove these screws and set aside.

- Now, push the bolt forward as far as it will go, which will force the ejector up and out of the action.

- Remove the ejector and set aside.

4. Remove the Bolt. There should be a small pin behind the bolt handle. Press this pin inward using a punch or similar tool. With the pin depressed, pull the bolt straight back to release it from the receiver.

5. Clean and Inspect the Bolt and Bolt Assembly. It's a good idea to regularly clean and inspect the bolt, firing pin, ejector, and other components to ensure they're in good condition and to prevent malfunctions.
