What is the difference between a lean-to and wickiup?

A lean-to is a basic shelter that consists of a roof sloping down from a ridgeline supported by posts or other supports on one side, typically with one end open. Lean-tos provide basic protection from the elements for people or objects with one side open for entry.

A wickiup, also known as a "wikiup" or "wickyup," is a Native American dwelling primarily used by certain Northern and Western tribes in North America. It typically has a dome or conical shape created by bending over saplings or young tree trunks and covering them with grass, bark, reeds, rushes, hides, woven mats, or a combination of these materials. Unlike a lean-to, it fully encloses an interior space.
