How do you make a fishing weight?

To make a fishing weight, you will need the following materials:

* Lead or other weight material (such as scrap metal or even rocks)

* Ingot mold (such as a tin can or a piece of pipe)

* Tongs

* Eye pin or swivel

* Casting spoon

* Eye bolt snap

Steps:

1. Melt the lead or other weight material in a casting spoon or a crucible using a heat source such as a camping stove or a blow torch.

2. When the lead or weight material is completely melted, pour it slowly into the ingot mold.

3. Allow the lead or weight material to cool and solidify completely in the mold.

4. Once solidified, remove the lead or weight from the mold using the tongs.

5. Attach an eye pin or swivel to the weight by inserting it into a small hole that you have drilled into the weight.

6. If you prefer, you can also attach an eye bolt snap to the weight by passing it through the eye of the eye pin or swivel and securing it with a split ring or crimp.

Your fishing weight is now ready to use!

Here are some additional tips for making fishing weights:

* You can use different types of lead or other weight material, depending on the desired weight of your sinker.

* You can also use different types of ingot molds to create different shapes and sizes of fishing weights.
