Glowing carp bait – fluoro pop-ups

IN THE depths of winter carp are reluctant to feed at the best of times, so the last thing you want to do is give them too much feed as the likelihood is that you will fill them up and they will have cleared off before even finding your hook bait.

A proven tactic in winter is to offer just a single bait with no feed at all. One of the best hook baits has to be a brightly coloured pop-up boilie which even the most unwilling carp find hard to resist.
