What a wonderful time is had by all just relaxing and fishing. Nothing beats that. I love the sport of fishing more than anything else in my life, even my spouse; and to me, the most wonderful form of fishing is bass fishing.

Sounds crazy, but bass fishing can be so relaxing as well as getting your blood flowing. Bass fishing itself is such a relaxing avocation and you can just calmly sit and wait for the fish to come to you, but at the same time, stay alert.

What a sport is bass fishing; there are a lot of ins and outs connected to it when people first start fishing, they either think it's the neatest thing since sliced bread, or they just can't tolerate it at all. It's very simple; yes or no type of thing.

As you are getting your feet wet, learning about bass fishing; you will soon find out that there is a lot more to bass fishing than meets the eye. There's no doubt about it, though, that you can't beat catching a largemouth bass on the line and the battle that ensues.

Now that we have gotten that out of the way; you will want to put some thought into what segment of bass fishing that you would like to be involved with: fishing for largemouth, smallmouth, or striped bass. It's a fact that most bass fisherman have a favorite fish type that they like to angle for, but it's not an all or nothing thing.

One kind of bass fishing after another is available to you as a bass fisherman and you are left to your own devices as to which avenue you want to follow to take up; like fishing from a boat, or stream fishing, or fly fishing.

When you leave boat fishing for a moment, not one of the other kinds of bass fishing seem to be preferred. Maybe you are new to bass fishing and you are not sure if you could hack fishing from a boat, but don't have a boat or don't want to go out in a boat alone; then join up with one of the many bass fishing social groups out there and try it out with like minded people.

Most people find that getting in with a party of bass fishing enthusiasts, is a good way to be introduced to the sport. Don't be intimidated by the fact that you are a newbie to bass fishing; just join a bass fishing group of folks who will be more than happy to teach you the ropes and your fears will soon evaporate.
