Can a katana cut shark in half?

While a katana is a very sharp and powerful sword, it is unlikely to be able to cut a shark in half. Sharks have very tough skin and cartilage, and their body is full of water. This means that a sword would have to be incredibly sharp and powerful in order to cut through all of that material. Additionally, the shark's body would likely absorb much of the impact of the sword, reducing the amount of damage it could do.
