Can a trout and catfish be members of the same population explain why or not?

Trout and catfish can be members of the same population if they occupy the same habitat and interact with each other. Population is defined as a group of organisms of the same species that live in the same area. Trout and catfish are both fish species, and they can coexist in the same aquatic environment if the conditions are suitable for both species. For example, if a river has a suitable temperature range, pH level, and oxygen concentration for both trout and catfish, and there is enough food available, then both species can thrive in the same population. However, if the conditions are not suitable for one or both species, then they will not be able to survive in the same population.
