Megabass Vision 110 Magnum SP

The MEGABASS VISION 110 MAGNUM SP (Suspend) was created based on the incredible success of it's smaller cousin, the VISION 110. Featuring Carrozzeria tuning, and a redesigned fixed-balancer system the VISION 110 MAGNUM's most noticeable feature is it's larger profile. Designed to capitalize on larger forage bases and more aggressive fish, the MAGNUM SP has some unique design features that set it apart from any other jerkbait in it's class.

Construction

The VISION 110 MAGNUM (SP) features the same engineering as the VISION 110 with a beefier profile. Features such as MEGABASS' revolutionary dual-tungsten Multi-Way Moving Balancer System (PAT) designed to produce superior long-distance casting, two internal rattles and the Carrozzeria tuning (which makes the bait balance perfectly in the water column) sets this bait up to be a killer on both non aggressive fish and smart big ones! The 110 Magnum SP that is available in the US market is tuned for a super-slow sink: roughly 1 inch every second.

Appearance

Aside from the beefier profile and length, the VISION 110 MAGNUM SP is also engineered a 1/4oz heavier than it's smaller counterpart... weighing in at ¾ oz. It also has all the physical characteristics of the VISION 110 from the downward looking super detailed eyes with Japanese symbols in the pupil, to the available 26 color options (which are expanding constantly) the VISION 110 MAGNUM SP is ready for any situation, water clarity or forage imitation.

Usage

On a cast and with a straight, steady retrieve, the Magnum SP will get down to 4ft. on 10lb test. When the fish start suspending at different depths, the slow sink (1 inch per second) will allow you to fine tune your presentation and get the bait to where the fish are hanging out! The MAGNUM SP will dance with the slightest rod twitches making it imitate an injured, dying baitfish... conversely, with stronger rips, the bait with walk back and forth with wide darting action just like the VISION 110. You can seriously take advantage of the fact that you now have a bait that can be brought to the depth of the fish and worked either slow or fast depending on their mood.... Versatility is now at your fingertips.

For casting a bigger jerkbait like the VISION MAGNUM SP I switch to a Baitcasting set up with fluorocarbon.... Here is my favorite set up with this bait:

REEL: 200 Size 6.5:1 Gear Ratio
LINE: 10 to 14 Lb 100% Fluorocarbon
