Kid Fish 2012
This year the parents brought the children over to our house the night before we were to leave so  camp out at my house wiener roast and swimming.
The usual cast of characters showed up Tristen, Brylee, Trevor (all 13)  and A new one Miss Emma (7 years old) this was here first fishing trip, boat ride, and stay at a hotel.
We hit Corsicana, TX. At 100 PM 
  we headed to Russell Stover candy outlet this place is big seen others but this store is enormous. The kids had a blast.
We staid at the La Quinta. They swam and eat we drove down to the lake to eat that night at the light house  it is locate on the water and great scenery.
I asked Emma if she was having fun before bed time she stated ?I?m having fun   just setting here?
The next morning brought some bad news a storm system was producing severe weather above us and the out flow made it impossible to fish we stayed at the motel till 9 am then we meet with Royce of Gone fishing Guide service a longtime friend.
Now this is Emma?s first boat ride and the water is ruff as we get out a few hundred yards, needless to say it scared her at first holding my arm so tight that I thought it might fall off. Normally I would not have taken her out but as the story progresses you will see. I talked to her but to no avail. Then I heard the others up front laughing and carrying on. I point this out to Emma she thought they were crazy. But I explained what the waves were and she was safe. This eased her fears. She later said it was more fun than Six Flags water rides?
We got to where the fish were and first Tristen, then Trevor then Brylee , finally Emma got her first fish.
The trip was cut short due to my getting sick I am gluten indolent and got some bad food. The kids took mercy on me and said lets go in. they still caught a mess of fish

Now to the best part of the trip Emma is setting in a seat all by herself.  Royce stated well I am going to have to speed up, Emma stated ?go for it? she had a blast and is ready to go again. I got a new fishing buddy. She wants to go out in my Skeeter next.
