The weather was been terribly hot and the water levels are low all over the Outaouais region. This makes for very tricky maneuvering with the boat. Having a depth map of your lake or river will increase your knowledge of fish hideouts and ensure a more secure boating experience.
June was a beautiful month for fishing since bass opens on this month over here.
Lac Lapêche is a great lake for huge smallmouth bass but has way too many crappies.
Lac Lapêche
Alexander was very proud of his largemouth bass at Lac Lapêche. He stuck to his rubber crayfish and it paid off! 17 inches approx.
Lac Lapêche is beautiful!
This huge turtle was in the road when we were leaving. Wanting to dig a hole on the side of the road and lay the eggs right in the crushed stone!
Lac Philippe is awesome for largemouth and smallmouth bass. This place is very touristy but not many come here to fish. And that makes this lake of my favorites of all time.
Lac Philippe
Sim catching a very nice smallmouth bass at Lac Philippe with his reputable Yamamoto worms. :)
