Well the boat is at about 90% still need a few little things but she should be ready to fish. I hooked her to the truck loaded up the tackle and rods and am hoping everything goes according to plan for the mornings test run and fishing trip combination. I can't just put her in the water and not fish. So I'll be waking my son up and bright and early and we'll be off to the lake.
The boat has plenty of room for everything we need the tackle storage holds nearly 30 PLANO boxes, however I need to work out some organization for the tackle compartment. The front deck has room for 8 rods secured with custom tie downs and the rear deck has tie downs for at least 4 more rods. For a small boat it is amazingly roomy I just hope that it is stable enough with all the gear but it should be as I tested its stability before the build.
Also tomorrow I should be able to work out the location for the front post seat as I wanted to get it in the water before attaching the seat to determine a location that would not compromise the stability of the boat by putting the seat too far forward. She should be a good little boat and I have high expectations for the trip regardless.
