Here in this region, the fishing slowed in the area during the last few days of July. The heat rolled in and the bite turned off. Fresh and Saltwater alike. Those that put in thier time in deep water still could bring in fish.
With the bite slow, we headed north to Orlando. Did you know you can fish in the land of the world famous mouse?
It didn't take long to see things were just as hot there. The lakes looked great, but a quick read of the waters indicated a slow bite there as well.
The guides are good at what they do and are ready to do whatever it takes so thier guests get a tug on the line.
Once back in the Southeast, some heavy rained cooled things off on the trip back, and we headed east to the Islands to start the new month. A few thrown hooks and a leader release on a nice Blue Marlin had the flag up and flying. Picked up a keeper grouper off the bottom and some dorado on the way back. Over all, a good start to the month. Week 1 Report to follow.
