Out fishing last week with fishing partner Vince, it was just one of those calls you get, you know ?Hi, want to go fishing? and I answered ?*#$@in right I do? so off we went to Lochaber to pick up the boat and it was then we decided to fish Country Harbour river to see how the Sea Trout were running, we might fish this with the boys during our upcoming fishing tournament (Cr4 Fish Fried).
We hit the river about 9:30 and start fishing up towards the harbour. It was slow fishing for awhile; we try everything in our tackle. Then while we were using spinner- worm we found a spot where the trout started hitting, I mean hard. These Sea trout were fresh and strong, from the small to the large they gave a good fight.
I didn?t get any pics. of this trip because of the short notice, the camera I took had a dead battery (another lesson). We easy had our limit (for supper) and releasing lots.
We decided that we will use this river as part of the tournament and as we were leaving we might of found a good place for us to stay a couple of nights. I will let you know how the tournament goes, with lots of pics. and videos (bringing all my camera gear), so for now?
