Fraser River-Vancouver area Pink Salmon forecast 2013

Great News for Pink salmon anglers!
 The return of Pink salmon in 2011 for the Fraser river and Vancouver area rivers was very impressive, the Fraser return alone was about 30 million(these fish were the parents of the upcoming 2013's return). This means that the 2013 return should be another massive return likely in the 20-40 million range. 
 Pinks will start showing up in the Vancouver area in mid July as they approach the rivers and will keep pouring into the Fraser and other rivers until very late September.  Fishing will be tremendous. Fly fishing is a very popular method and so is light tackle spinfishing with small lures and jigs. We have seen on many occasions anglers hook into 100 fish per day and even kids hook fish after fish! We have fly fished for Pink salmon in the Fraser river valley since 1989 and know a thing or 2 about hooking salmon regardless of the species.
