Even In His Passing, The Bass Professor Continues to Help Anglers

In a recent correspondence with Mark Abernathy of Pro Media Now Inc. and the inventor of the “original fishing snake”, he shared some great information with me about the legacy of the legendary fisherman Doug Hannon, who was known and loved by anglers around the world as “The Bass Professor.”

Doug was considered by many the World's finest Big Bass angler having caught 800 10LB plus largemouth Bass. Mark had this to say about his friend, “Doug was my best friend of the last 12 years and prior to his truly saddening death approximately 4 months s ago we had been building 2 Multi-Platform APPS, functional on all types of mobile devices utilizing, Amazon, Android,iOS/Apple and Facebook platforms. Very proud to say we believe we have done this, but again it is just so unfortunate that Doug is not here to share in these APPS ie his legacy.”

App #2 is a Free game titled "Fishing Paradise 3D" that can be found on Facebook, Android ,iOS/APPLE and Amazon platforms and is rapidly approaching 250,000 players globally. Players travel the globe fishing and catching exotic species fish while managing their own fishery, raising fish, developing your own lake, hosting tournaments, inviting friends to compete and more. This game is described as "addictive" with both APPS rated 4.5/5 stars on all available platforms with thousands of reviews. Great fun for an fisherman.

Mark asked that I share these Apps’s with my readers, and I was happy to do so. Doug was very much the inspiration behind what we are doing at Team Bilbrey Fishing, and when I discovered that Mark was continuing the work that he and Doug had begun I was excited and could not wait to download the Apps and get started spreading the word. Doug is truly missed by many; he was a great angler and teacher, and mentor to many. It is great to know that we can take part of his knowledge with us to the water.
