27 Inch Largemouth

This is a 27 inch Largemouth from Dale Hollow Lake. It was only weighed on scales that were in the bottom of the boat for about 15 years. The fish by different formula's probably weighed over 9 pounds with some formulas showing 12.5 pounds. Billy Joe Botts caught the fish, "On the Lake" on a Float and Fly rig.

Using a Punisher Float and Fly Jig. Like most fishermen he is saying it was Wild Pink with Chocolate Dressing.. LOL ( For those who do not understand the Angler is mum on the REAL Color and the Location) It was caught above First Island.
