Catch more carp and beat leading brand readymade boilies with your own winning versions! Get some expert tips and advice on beating Mainline Cell boilies, improving your own homemade Live System boilies, and designing your very own unique homemade bait recipes! Here are a few expert suggestions proven by endless bait tests and trials that will help empower you to create new powerfully irresistible bait experiences for your carp that will help you catch many more big fish this year!
Many anglers want to copy the mainline base mix recipe somehow, or perhaps make a custom homemade version of CC Moore Live System. These two leading brand readymade baits each have a great track record, yet they really can be improved upon, and differentiated, to improve results and fish responses in very many ways!
And relating to such points, you must be wondering what the next short cut to success will be; yet you actually have the power to create this within yourself. When you need to improve your catches but need help from someone with deep bait knowledge and very long experience, who is not working with vested interests in mind, it can be a challenge to find someone. So here are some unique expert tips which are just the tip of the iceberg of possibilities!
Within baits and the world of improving the potency of baits, there are a number of substances that can very easily make a huge difference to fish responses! This is either when these substances are added to readymade baits, or within homemade bait recipes, and used individually or used in combinations!
Use a number of these winning substances combined together (in suitable levels,) as part of the core of an exceptionally water-reactive, feed-triggering homemade bait. These substances really can produce catches far above expectations which you might have been used to when using standard versions of popular readymade baits that everyone has access to!
Here are a few suggestions of such winning substances and tips on combinations based on personal original research and testing which I thoroughly recommend:
Yeast powder concentrate: Brewers yeast has been such a well proven big carp bait additive for decades that it cannot be ignored! It has figured prominently in many classic baits and recipes over the years. The old Phillips Yeast Mixture applied as a carp bait additive is a fine example of a winner from the seventies and eighties. This was a time when extremely influential anglers such as Kevin Maddocks and Rod Hutchinson made such an impact on carp fishing and bait design, years before the current age of readymade baits, Korda and Mainline Cell! (The use of yeasts is nothing new!)
You can still get Phillips Yeast Mixture, (which is a bird feed supplement.) It contains minerals, salt, trace elements and special strains of yeasts. (The formula is still a winner I assure you; and boosting Cell with this legendary additive is a great edge!)
Brewers yeast is a very highly regarded quality protein food source for carp! It is very rich in vitamin B complex, and consists of complete amino acid groups, microelements and more. All of these act as attractants and feed stimulants, and elements of Brewers yeast enhance many other additives and ingredients used within boilies and other formats of baits!
Though such yeasts are renowned for winter use, (and their mineral salt content is also very significant here,) I have found that brewers yeast and Phillips yeast mixture are really outstanding for big carp over forty pounds, all year round! Both of these yeasts exploited together can be used to boost and differentiate both Mainline Cell, and CC Moore Live System, from standard baits and standard readymade base mixes to improve your bait performance!
As an added tip, concentrated yeast powder and soluble fish protein plus liquid betaine make a very effective fine soluble paste which can be used to wrap around your hook baits and leads when using readymade or homemade baits!
Liquid enzyme-treated yeast: Enhanced liquid yeast acts as a very potent feeding trigger and appetite stimulator!
The action of enzymes breaking down the walls and cell components of yeasts improve nutritional stimulation and attraction of such yeasts when used in carp baits! This action also improves digestibility, and bio-availability of bait components. This very significantly improves the release and availability of essential amino acids. Some of these amino acids assist in enhancing vital palatability of bait, and also improve feeding responses and feeding duration of repetitive feeding! This form of soluble protein with such huge benefits, boost numbers of potential chances of hooking more fish, and help overcome feeding caution to further tempt wary fish to take your hook bait!
An additional tip on liquid enzyme treated yeast is that it is very effective teamed with liquid liver, enzyme treated liver powder, liquid kelp complex and anchovy protein extract. This is alongside Belachan powder, and within the base mix of both Mainline Cell, and CC Moore Live System! To make liquid foods cheaper simply add boiling water to Belachan block, with some added rock and sea salt, and liquid yeast, and boosting with some of your base mix powder to thicken the liquid even more.
You can include liquid lecithin, squid oil, essential oils, oleoresins, and more, in order to achieve many more profoundly powerful cumulative and instant internal and external impacts and effects to improve your big fish catches!
